We are a large and inspirational centre of learning based in Cambridge on a purpose-built site on the Science Park, with outstanding teaching and leisure facilities and a reputation for excellence in a number of fields.
The College has just completed a £23 million development programme, which has produced campus facilities unrivalled by Further Education Colleges elsewhere in the UK. Current plans for further expansion will continue to develop CRC’s reputation as a leading provider of training and skills in the region.
In the past year the College have been graded as Good with some outstanding features by Ofsted, achieved Beacon Status for our supportive education provision, been successfully accredited IIP and praised for our contribution to the local economy.
The Park, the College’s latest development, includes modern and luxurious hair and beauty salons, both of which offer special rates to staff. There is also a large, fully equipped sports centre with state of the art exercise and fitness facilities, a new bistro and restaurant, and even a travel agency on site. Elsewhere on campus there are restaurants, a café and a shop.
The College benefits from fast access from the A14, a free bus service to surrounding villages, free car parking, modern and spacious vocational workshops, theatre and dance studios. The SmartLIFE centre – the Centre of Sustainable Development – attracts international acclaim for its innovative teaching methods focused on “green” construction.
CRC is a College to be proud of and proud in. With around 800 staff, 3,500 full-time and 6,000 part-time students, the campus atmosphere is busy and vibrant.
