Welcome to Lakes College West Cumbria

Housed on a purpose built campus, Lakes College West Cumbria is located on Lillyhall Business Park between Workington and Whitehaven. Training and education facilities as well as sports, catering, tourism, art and business services are all under one roof. Our construction teaching workshops are located just a few minutes walk from the main campus.

The £11 million campus building includes a Learning Resource Centre with over 90 on-line computers, a superb library and plenty of study space. There is also a café, restaurant, shop, hair and beauty treatment salon, workshops, art and design studios and an impressive range of sports facilities including: a sports hall, tennis courts, rugby and football pitches, fitness suite, free weights gym and a floodlit multi-use games area.

At Lakes College West Cumbria students are taught everything from basic skills through to post graduate level subjects on a full or part-time basis, either in college, at centres near to where they live, in their workplace or even at home.
