Senior IT Infrastructure Lead – FULL TIME - PERMANANT
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and dynamic individual who is passionate about IT.
The successful candidate will support the IT manager in the installation, upgrade, support and maintenance of the college’s IT systems, network, and services. They will also provide outstanding IT and network support for both the teaching & learning, and service & support areas of the college.
The successful candidate will be required to contribute to IT projects and stand in for the IT Manager when needed. They will play a key role in ensuring the success of our upcoming IT projects, including Network and Server upgrades, Windows 11 deployment, and Cloud migrations. They will provide 3rd line support and act as an escalation point for the IT Team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, along with a strong work ethic and good time management skills. The successful candidate will have a good standard of English and Maths and a level 4/5 in Computer Science (or relevant area) is essential along with an in depth understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID.
The salary range for this role is in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay, Spine Points 22-25 - £36,417 to £39,321 full time equivalent. The starting salary will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications.
