Lead Teaching Assistant (Temporary for the 2023/24 Academic Year) – 32.5 hours per week. Start date (to be confirmed)

Ash Field is a specialist Academy for children from 4-19 whose main presenting need is physical but usually associated with additional needs. The school has an excellent national reputation and so it is a great place to learn and develop your skills and understanding. A positive attitude, enthusiasm and lots of energy is key to this role!

We are looking for an experienced TA/HLTA who is keen to develop their skills to effectively support the class teacher and lead the classroom teaching assistant team, alongside supporting pupils with their learning and care needs

32.5 hours per week/38 weeks per year (Mon.-Fri.) plus 30 hours training.

Initially this post is temporary until the end of the academic year (2023/2024) but this may be extended further and is subject to satisfactory completion of a 12 month probationary period.

Actual starting salary: AFAT pt 4 £19,754 or AFAT pt 5 £20,871 (for those with HLTA status)

Appointment will be subject to Ash Field Academy Trust pay and conditions
