The Land Based Industries Department are looking for an Instructor to hit the ground running in this busy and varied post, where the successful applicant will play an integral role in the delivery of the Animal Care and Management provision at Wigfield Farm. The successful applicant will deliver highly effective practical animal care education to Level 1 to 3 students, including adult learners.
Wigfield Farm is set in the Worsbrough Country Park area of Barnsley and has three main functions:
- A base for Barnsley College Animal Management and Horticulture courses
- A working Farm producing livestock
- An Open Farm and Visitors Centre accessible to the local and wider community
- A recognised proven track record of delivering outstanding practical animal management education is essential.
