Barnsley Sixth Form College is a thriving and lively team, where staff work collaboratively to support each other and students to ensure everyone enjoys their time at college and gets the very best from it. We are now looking for a Health and Sport Teacher to undertake this newly formed, dual role, working with both Level 12 and 13 students undertaking a Health and Social Care qualification at A Level.

As one of our A Level Health and Social Care Teachers, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure the current scheme of learning across both qualifications are followed and adapted to meet the needs of our students. You will work with our young people to deliver an outstanding learner experience that supports the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours for them to progress to their desired next step.

We are looking for a highly motivated and inspirational A Level Health and Social Care Teacher to support within a high performing and aspirational team. We are interested in hearing from individuals from the sector with a strong understanding of exam preparation, assessment and feedback. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as ensuring students are fully prepared for the end of year exams.
