Working closely with delivery teams across the organisation, you will be responsible for assessing additional learning support needs, implementing effective support strategies and monitoring the impact of provision.
This role offers the chance to contribute to improving learner outcomes while working in a collaborative, learner-focused environment. You will play an important part in ensuring learners are supported to progress, achieve and reach their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will lead on the assessment of additional learning support (ALS) needs for apprentices and learners, ensuring that appropriate support strategies are identified and implemented. You will use internal systems to record, track and monitor ALS provision, ensuring that all support delivered is accurately evidenced and evaluated for effectiveness. Alongside this, you will work closely with trainers and delivery teams to ensure consistent application of support strategies and to help embed inclusive practices across programmes.
You will support the delivery of tailored interventions, working both directly with learners and through coaching delivery staff to ensure learners receive the support they need. A key part of your role will involve monitoring learner progress, identifying those at risk and working proactively with colleagues to implement timely interventions that support achievement and progression. You will also contribute to evaluating the overall impact of ALS provision, using data and feedback to inform continuous improvement across the organisation.
In addition, you will support learner enrolment processes and enrichment activities where required, maintain accurate and high-quality documentation, and contribute to meetings and wider business activities. You will be expected to work flexibly to respond to changing priorities, while maintaining a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Your role will also include ensuring compliance with safeguarding, equality and diversity requirements, and always promoting a positive image of ITS.

You will have a strong understanding of how to support learners on a one-to-one basis and experience delivering or supporting high-quality training. You will be confident in assessing learner needs, implementing support strategies and using data to monitor progress and inform decision-making.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with learners, delivery staff and employers. Your ability to manage your workload independently, while working collaboratively as part of a team, will be essential in this role.
