Business Teacher

Business Department

Permanent vacancy – 37 hours per week

£27,850 to £31,280 per annum

Our new Business Teacher will contribute to the delivery of an exceptional learner experience across the range of Business T levels, with a focus on developing learners ready for their next steps and achievement of their qualification. You will work collaboratively with a team of specialists to contribute to the development and organisation of the curriculum. Teachers will facilitate fun educational visits to provide students with an opportunity to develop their understanding of a particular subject and see first-hand the factors businesses need to be aware of so they can operate. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educator with enthusiasm for teaching and learning. The aim of this role is to inspire and engage our learners, whilst contributing to the overall success rates, growth and development of the department.

The successful candidate will be professional with high standards and fully committed to ensuring our learners achieve their full potential helping them along their learner journey. Barnsley College also supports all staff members with their own CPD and provides opportunities to undertake further qualifications and training. We are happy to accept applications from newly qualified teachers and those looking to move in to teaching for this post, however you must already hold an AAT or other finance qualification to be considered.
