Business is an outstanding department at Barnsley College. We are looking for a Course Leader to join an established team. You will be required to teach a small number of hours on a range of English and or maths courses including GCSE and functional skills to both 16 - 18 and adult learners.
You will be responsible managing the English and Maths Programmes and Teaching Team. You are required to have a minimum of 2 relevant work experience, and ideally some experience of line managing staff.
You will hold a relevant teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards and ideally hold an internal verifier qualification.
You must have a passion to ensure learners have an outstanding learner experience. We are looking for someone with innovation and creativity and will offer you the opportunity to shape and design the curriculum and learning environment.
The department has a track record of delivering outstanding learner success and you will be expected to contribute towards this.
