Our new Director of Curriculum will play a visible role in the leadership of the college. This post requires someone with significant and relevant experience of educational leadership, as well as the strategic ability to drive development of all aspects of an exceptional teaching and learning environment.

Director of Curriculum (Young People)

Leadership and Management

Permanent vacancy - 37 hours per week

£65,922 per annum

As the Director of Curriculum, you will lead the development and implementation of curriculum strategies aligned with organisational goals and educational standards. You will be responsible for the regular review and assessment of the college's curriculum offer and oversee departmental contributions to meeting the skills needs of our learners and the wider region.

This role requires a motivational and visionary leader with a passion for education and a deep understanding of the educational needs and interests of young people. The Director of Curriculum (Young People) will hold direct line management responsibility of department heads, whilst fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity in teaching and learning practices. The successful candidate will be equipped with the relevant skills and experience to make an immediate impact, with an implacable drive for achieving excellence in curriculum innovation, and the overall student experience.
