ESOL is part of the Business curriculum area with excellent achievement rates, delivering Skills for Life language learning provision from Entry 1 (A1) to Level 1 (B2). Most of our learners are adults.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an ESOL Teacher to join our dedicated and dynamic team of professionals to plan and deliver outstanding teaching at Barnsley College. The role will suit an applicant who has a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and a subject specialism in ESOL. You will be able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment to meet requirements and have a strong commitment to team working. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a commitment to excellence, knowledge of the curriculum and broad trends and initiatives within the sector is desirable.
