Sessional Technician/Labourer in Construction Crafts

28.5 hours per week, up to July 9th 2021

£11.10 per hour to £12.43 per hour (£9.45 basic + £1.65 holiday pay to £10.58 basic + £1.85 holiday pay)

Are you a motivated individual with knowledge of the construction industry within the Construction Crafts field, looking to work with a team passionate about what they do?

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated technician to join the team.

Our Construction department is very well equipped to meet the demands of local employers and we are seeking a technician/labourer.

Although this current role is until the end of the current academic year, there may be the requirement of a full-time post from September 2021

What will you be doing?

You will proactively ensure the workshops spaces are clean and tidy after use.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Have the ability to be adaptable and motivated team player

• Be physically capable of lifting heavy weights, as certain aspects of the role will be physically demanding and will involve lifting and carrying

• Be able to demonstrate awareness of Health & Safety

• Having previous experience working within a construction/workshop environment would be beneficial
