HR & Recruitment Administrator

18.5 hours per week – 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Up to £10,213 per annum

We are recruiting a part-time HR Administrator on a fixed term contract to join our friendly team at Basingstoke College of Technology.

As our HR & Recruitment administrator, you will be the main point of contact for the recruitment and onboarding service. Working within the HR department, the role will contribute to the overall achievement of the college’s Strategic Plan by directly supporting strategic priority 6. In doing this, indirect support for all other strands is provided. The post holder will primarily assist with recruitment, as well as providing general administration for the department.

You will also provide general admin support for the department and will manage confidential and regulated employee data. Due to operational requirements, the successful candidate will be required to work on a Monday – other hours to be mutually agreed.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to add HR experience to their CV and support our dedicated workforce who are passionate about what they do and help others to achieve.

About you

• Have 2 years’ minimum experience of general administration (ideally HR but not essential)

• Have experience of using IT systems and Microsoft products

• Be highly organised, adaptable, team-player and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service to all stakeholders

• Be able to demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills and have a ‘can-do’ attitude
