IT Support and Project Engineer (3rd Line)
Full-time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
Up to £55k per annum

This is an exciting new role and opportunity to become part of our expanding IT Support Team in a fast-paced and diverse environment. As the 3rd Line IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for the effective use of BCoT’s IT infrastructure to deliver an industry leading experience to students and staff at the college.
What will you be doing?
Plan and deliver alongside the Director of IT on projects that will drive forward with advancements
Provide expertise in existing technologies to deal with planned and reactive works to ensure business as usual activities, both by other team members and yourself
Responsible for the delivery of new projects relating to IT infrastructure and IT client equipment
Responsible for the; WAN, LAN and WiFi planning, implementation, securing and monitoring to allow a seamless end user IT experience
As the successful candidate you will:
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Hyper V, VMware ESXi/ Vcentre, Windows Server and Network Security
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience configuring and using HPE Aruba LAN and WiFi maintenance and a minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully implementing new IT systems or developments in an organisation more with than 1000 users
• Hold a degree in the relevant field and/or HPE certificate in some or all of switching storage or computer
