Sessional Lecturer GCSE and Functional Skills Maths

£25.50 per hour** (£21.01 basic + £4.49 holiday pay)

To

£35.97 per hour** (£29.63 basic + £6.34 holiday pay)

Are you passionate about your subject area? Do you have experience of teaching GCSE and functional skills maths to post-16 learners? If so, we would be very interested in hearing from you.

Due to a predicted rise in student numbers this September we are looking for an enthusiastic maths lecturer to join our team on a sessional basis to deliver innovative and inclusive teaching to post-16 learners. You will have the ability to inspire and motivate your students enhancing your lessons using a variety of approaches including technology. Your role will be to progress, support and develop every student through outstanding teaching and learning to achieve a successful outcome in their maths studies.

Job requirements:

• Experience of teaching GCSE and Functional Skills maths within the post-16 sector

• Hold a teaching qualification (Level 4)

• Have a minimum level 3 maths qualification

• Ability to deliver the curriculum creatively with strong independent organisational skills

We welcome applications from candidates with appropriate skills and good experience of teaching at this level. You would be joining a supportive team which has a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success.

There may be opportunities to also work at our Future Skills Centre in Bordon.

This is a sessional role and may include evening work.
