Sessional Technician/Labourer in Construction Crafts
28.5 hours per week, upto July 9th 2021
£11.10 per hour to £12.43 per hour (including holiday pay)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated technician to join the team.
Our Construction department is very well equipped to meet the demands of local employers and we are seeking a technician/labourer to assist and support with practical training sessions for students on various Construction Crafts courses including Carpentry, Brickwork, and Painting & Decorating.
What will you be doing?
Primarily you will be assisting tutors and students with the material preparation and the setting up of teaching sessions in our workshops. You will proactively ensure the workshops spaces are clean and tidy after use.
As the successful candidate, you will:
• Have the ability to be adaptable and motivated team player
• Be physically capable of lifting heavy weights, as certain aspects of the role will be physically demanding and will involve lifting and carrying
• Be able to demonstrate awareness of Health & Safety
• Have previous experience working within a construction/workshop environment
