We currently have a new opportunity for a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join Orchard Grove Primary School, growing and developing an outstanding nursery provision by utilising a passion for Early Years practice.

Job overview

You’ll provide leadership and management of the Nursery, effectively managing day-to-day operations whilst ensuring the highest standards of care and education are delivered by supporting staff with the strategic implementation, planning, and monitoring of Nursery provision and policies.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of a Level 3 Childcare qualification, with a teaching or Early Years qualification desirable
  • Experience of management within a nursery or Early Years setting including staff management
  • Extensive knowledge of EYFS practice, including statutory requirements, safeguarding and SEN inclusion
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
