Join Our Team – Make a Difference in Education Finance

Instanter Learning Trust is seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officers to join our Trust Finance team. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, the successful candidates will play a key role in delivering efficient and effective financial support services across the Trust.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a forward-thinking Multi Academy Trust, ensuring compliance, value for money, and outstanding service across our schools.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and payments in line with Trust policies, ensuring best value and compliance.

• Maintain accurate financial records for revenue, capital, and private funds.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliation and supplier queries.

• Oversee petty cash and business charge card transactions.

• Assist with month-end and year-end account closures and audits.

• Support the administration of school lettings and ensure effective communication with hirers and the site team.

• Provide high-quality customer service to staff, suppliers, and parents, and carry out general finance administrative tasks.

If you have experience of working in a financial administration role, have strong numeracy skills and excellent customer service standards and attention to detail, then we would love to hear from you.

We have two positions available. Both roles are for 16 hours per week, worked over 4 days. Hours for position 1 would be 8am-12pm and position 2, 12pm-4pm.
