32.5 hours per week
The Governing Body of Pil Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective Senior Administrative Officer to work in our busy office.
The primary responsibility of the job is that of main Receptionist, but a range of clerical duties is also attached to the post. The successful candidate will undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties which will include, minute taking, various typing of confidential reports, managing lunchtime supervisors, administrative, financial and organisational processes.
Candidates must:
Have strong inter-personnel skills
Must be numerate and well organised
Have excellent typing and communication skills and be able to work well within a team and have a flexible approach to working
Must be able to manage complex manual and computerised financial systems and returns
Must be able to analyse and evaluate data and produce reports and documents
Have an in-depth working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and Outlook), of the SIMS package, iTrent and COA financial software is desirable
Have the ability to work within tight timescales and to solve problems that may arise
Oversee the completion of returns and statutory information
liaise with the Education Welfare Officers and others to monitor pupil attendance
be responsible for high value stocks and sums of cash
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
