Llangewydd Junior School is situated in Bridgend and part of the Bryntirion Cluster of schools. There are 343 pupils on roll aged between seven and eleven years. The school currently has 12 mainstream classes and 2 ALN classes, however in September we are opening up our third ALN class which will cater for pupils with Neurodevelopmental needs).

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher, who is innovative, creative and an inspirational classroom practitioner who is committed to supporting children's wellbeing, learning and has high aspirations and expectations for the pupils' they work with.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent experienced foundation learning classroom practitioner with a sound understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
- Be experienced with working with pupils with ALN and catering for their needs (specifically those with Neurodevelopmental needs)
- Have experience of writing IDPs / delivering IDPs.
- Be able to provide high quality differentiated learning experiences to provide support and challenge for all learners.
- Work effectively as part of a successful team.
- Work effectively with parents and external agencies.
- Be organised and have excellent inter-personal skills.
- Liaise and work with parents, governors and the wider community.
- Work effectively within an AOLE team.
