The Governing Body of Croesty Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious Cover Supervisor, with relevant experience to join a highly motivated and friendly teaching team.

Our Learning Support Officers are a vital part of our classroom teams and many of them also work as Cover Supervisors on a relief basis providing PPA cover. The successful applicant will join the support staff team in supporting pupils' learning and will cover lessons during short-term absences of class teachers across the whole school, as well as senior leadership non-contact time. We are interested in candidates who would be confident and willing to undertake this work as and when required. Therefore, we are interested in applications from candidates with experience of different ages across the primary range.

We are committed to ensuring that our staff are given opportunities to build on their existing interests, skills and experience and become valued and active members of our school community.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
