Llangewydd Junior School is situated in Bridgend and part of the Bryntirion Cluster of schools. There are 343 pupils on roll aged between seven and eleven years. The school has 12 mainstream classes and 2 ALN classes.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an LSA, who is reliable, creative and flexible, who is committed to supporting the classroom teacher to promote children's wellbeing and learning.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent classroom learning support assistant.
- Be able to support high quality learning experiences using their knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales.
- Be an excellent role model to encourage positive outcomes.
- Work effectively as part of a successful team.
- Be able to support the needs of all learners, including those with ALN.
- Be able to support with behaviour both inside and outside of the classroom.
