Llangewydd Junior School is situated in Bridgend and part of the Bryntirion Cluster of schools. There are 343 pupils on roll aged between seven and eleven years. The school has 12 mainstream classes and 2 ALN classes.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher, who is innovative, creative and an inspirational classroom practitioner who is committed to supporting children's wellbeing, learning and has high aspirations and expectations for the pupils' they work with.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent experienced classroom practitioner with a sound understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
- Be able to provide high quality learning experiences.
- Work effectively as part of a successful team.
- Be able to differentiate learning experiences to cater for the needs of all learners, providing support and challenge.
- Be organised and have excellent inter-personal skills.
- Liaise and work with parents, governors and the wider community.
- Work effectively within an AOLE team.

Successful shortlisted candidates will be asked to visit the school by appointment with the Headteacher and deliver a lesson either at Llangewydd or at own school (to be confirmed).
