Job description
Temporary up to 31 August 2026 The Governors of Trelales Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated, inspiring teacher who is committed to making a positive difference within our school community. We are looking for class teachers who develop highly effective relationships with all members of the school community and who demonstrate unwavering commitment to providing the best possible learning opportunities for all. The successful candidates will need to demonstrate excellent classroom practice and be passionate, ambitious, self-reflective and enthusiastic to contribute to our happy, successful and inclusive school community. They will be committed to engaging with families and contributing to our school’s extensive family engagement work. They will provide children with inspiring learning experiences that allow them to develop as independent, curious, reflective, cooperative and resilient learners. The successful candidates will benefit from quality professional learning and development opportunities, at all stages of their career. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving school community with a supportive staff, leadership team and governing body. The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
