Heronsbridge is a maintained special school for children with severe learning difficulties, PMLD and autism aged 3 - 19.
The governing body wish to appoint a caring, committed and enthusiastic class teacher. Applicants should have experience of working with pupils with severe learning difficulties, PMLD and autism.
The successful candidate will have excellent classroom practice, including use of ICT, high expectations of pupil achievements and behaviour and a willingness to work as part of a team to secure school improvement.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced Children and Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
