The Governors of Ysgol Bryn Castell wish to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) including pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD), autism and associated ALN.
The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding classroom practice tailored to meet the needs of pupils with ALN. They will have a strong understanding of, and the ability to implement, effective strategies to support learners within a special school setting. The role requires the ability to teach a range of subjects across the school while fostering a fully inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
