About us
Our Federation is built of two schools: Kingsweston School and Claremont School. Our federation’s vision is that every student is empowered to flourish, to develop their independence and to be prepared for their future. We are committed to ensuring that this vision is a reality for the students, parents, staff and everyone connected with the schools.
The School
Kingsweston School is a large and diverse specialist provision in the north-west of Bristol operating from four sites and catering for pupils with ASC and a range of learning difficulties. The curriculum is both inclusive and ambitious. It is delivered across multiple key stages from EYFS through to Post-16. Our students work within a large range of attainment levels and many present with numerous barriers to learning. Our curriculum is designed to enable all students to access learning and overcome whatever barriers may present through our core curriculum values of Creativity, Connectedness, Nurture, and Empowerment.
Who we are looking for.
• Must have a degree relevant to education and hold a QTS.
• Someone who is passionate and compassionate about working with SEND Students
• Team player, it is important that you can work with others and able to help contribute to a positive environment.
• Preferably have experience working with student with ASC, SLD and complex needs, but if you have no experience do not worry!
• You will have a good sense of humour and plenty of energy to engage students.
