School Business Manager
Required from 1st September 2024
30 hours per week (pattern to be agreed), term time plus two weeks
Applications are invited from charismatic, enthusiastic and suitably experienced individuals, for this varied, rewarding and demanding post. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisation skills, will be confident in financial processes, with a high level of numeracy and literacy. Whilst experience within the education sector is desirable, candidates from other sectors with appropriate transferable skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Head Teacher wishes to appoint:
- A confident business leader with strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills;
- A candidate with the ability to self-manage a busy workload;
- A suitably qualified or experienced finance practitioner, able to manage the school budget with support from the central Trust team;
- A professional leader, with the confidence and experience to advise on matters pertaining to HR, staff wellbeing and recruitment;
- An individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to bring together the busy team of office support staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school;
- A candidate with experience in leading on compliance and health and safety, or a strong aptitude and willingness to learn;
- An ambitious leader who is committed to the professional development of themselves and others, and who comes with ideas on how to improve our processes and embed our culture of inclusion across the school at every level.
Salary
CST Payscale: Points 38 to 41
Gross full time equivalent range: £41,357 - £44,653
Actual part time term-time salary (0.6862FTE): £28,377 - £30,639
