Salary: £31,537 per annum pro rata (actual salary £24,225 per annum)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only
Required from Monday 05.01.2026, this is a fixed term contract for 9-12 months covering maternity leave. The fixed term contract will come to an end when the post holder returns.
Cotham School, a successful, vibrant and diverse 11-18 comprehensive school, wishes to appoint an experienced HLTA for Numeracy. The successful applicant will have the necessary knowledge, skills and vision to develop and deliver resources, interventions and programmes to support students with Numeracy. You will deliver high quality numeracy support and intervention to small groups and individual students across Key Stages 3 and 4, organising and managing an appropriate learning environment and resources. This is a great first level teaching support post, many of our previous successful applications have gone on to gain teaching qualifications.
You will work in close liaison with colleagues and parents to create co-ordinated approaches to supporting individual students, monitoring their effectiveness and supporting colleagues in their implementation.
