About the role
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, dedicated and professional Class Teacher to join our team at New Fosseway School starting in September 2026. You’ll have an enthusiasm for supporting learners with differentiated needs including working with learners with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, attachment disorder and dysregulated behaviours. Providing learning support with a positive and inclusive outlook within a structured learning environment to ensure learners can reach their full potential.
The role will be based in an EYFS/KS1 ASC class for 26/67, but is subject to move.

- Qualified Teacher Status
- Passion and commitment for supporting learners with specific needs
- An empathetic, patient and tolerant demeanour
- Key organisation and communication skills
- Experience with managing dysregulated behaviours and helping SEN learners to achieve

You will have the ongoing support of a skilled and dedicated team. Some of our pupils are non-verbal using alternative means of communication including Makaton, signs, symbols or communication aids, often using a multisensory approach.
