About our School

Our school is an extremely successful suburban primary school located in South Bristol. All our children are encouraged to aim for excellence and to fulfil their individual potential – academically, socially, and personally.

We foster an environment in which children thrive because they enjoy school and feel happy, safe, and valued. The needs of every child are always our prime consideration.

OFSTED came to visit us in June 2024 and rated our school and Nursery as GOOD in all areas. We were particularly delighted when they said:

The impact of the well-taught curriculum has been significant. Pupils produce a range of high-quality work. It shows their development of knowledge and skills through the curriculum. (OFSTED 2024)

At St Peter’s we all strongly believe that children deserve to experience childhood and all the magic and wonder it brings - From breakfast until bedtime we offer our children ‘A World of Opportunities’ which we believe are among the best in the area.

We can offer:

• Auto-enrolment into the Local Government Pension scheme and recognised continuous service

• Cycle to work scheme

• 24/7 Employee Assistant Programme offering advice to you and your family around legal, financial, health as well as free counselling
