North Star 82° is a special school which provides 77 places for children of both sexes in the age range of 5-11 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is located in the north of Bristol and is easily accessible from the M4 and M5. Our primary school, is situated in a 17th-century manor house surrounded by spacious grounds, providing children with the opportunity to develop skills both in the classroom and through structured activities outside.
All schools within the Trust have been rated "good" by OFSTED, and we are looking for an inspirational, supportive, and resilient leader to continue raising standards through monitoring and evaluating practices and actively developing teaching and learning within the school. This role will be challenging at times, and we are ideally seeking someone with practical experience working with SEMH students.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader who can formulate strategy and make a significant impact on the school. You will be well-organized, able to work under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, and deliver results through a strong team.
