About Us

Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) is a family of schools who share a passion for developing learning within and beyond our classrooms, along with a deep commitment to music and the creative arts. Our aim is to empower every child and member of staff to realise their full potential and develop the ability to bring about positive change in their lives and the communities around us.

Cathedral Primary School (CPS) is a vibrant two-form Church of England school in the heart of Bristol, feeding into Bristol Cathedral Choir School. Based in the historic Grade I listed Bristol Central Library. We offer an outstanding, creative curriculum enriched by the city's resources, with a strong focus on music. Our values-driven community fosters curiosity, ambition, and strong parent partnerships, ensuring every child thrives.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a charismatic and enthusiastic individual who has a love for music to join our friendly and welcoming team at CPS. As a music specialist if you join us, a typical day in this role may see you leading ensembles, delivering lessons, leading staff development and liaising with local organisations and trust schools to develop the wider co-curricular offering.

About You

You are likely to be an outstanding teacher, an excellent musician and strong leader. You will be able to bring to us your passion for music education, the ability to inspire and engage children of all abilities, and the vision to lead a vibrant and inclusive music curriculum across the school.
