We’re thrilled you’re considering this opportunity!
It’s a fantastic and exciting time to join our Resourcing Team at Brunel Academies Trust.
Are you passionate about supporting schools? Perhaps you’ve been a School Business Manager or Teacher who thrives more in a back-office role? Or maybe you’re a PA, Secretary, or Senior Administrator with excellent front-of-house customer service skills, looking for a new challenge? If you have strong administration and/or account management experience and enjoy guiding stakeholders, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
About the Role
Based in our Salisbury Central Office, you’ll work closely with our Resourcing Manager as part of a small, supportive team. You’ll also be connected to our wider Resourcing Team in Swindon – working remotely but collaboratively. We are one team, and we support each other.
You’ll be responsible for facilitating recruitment needs for Headteachers in Salisbury, as well as for additional schools and alternative provisions across Wiltshire as we continue to grow. This means occasional travel across Wiltshire for site visits or events, so access to a vehicle is essential (we have our own electric business vehicle for booking). Once you’re settled into the role, we support hybrid working with up to two days per week from home (largely from home in half term breaks or dress down in the office during this time). We value work/life balance, our Head of Resourcing Services is passionate about this for our team and this role has the potential to grow into a substantive position – making it a great platform for development.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Trust’s Resourcing Manager, you’ll take ownership of recruitment for your assigned Education Provisions (EPs), from the moment a vacancy arises to the candidate’s induction. It’s an exciting and rewarding process, with a strong focus on Safer Recruitment and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) regulations. As a key part of the Safeguarding process, your role is vital – and there’s always something new to learn.
What We’re Looking For
This is a busy and varied role, so strong time management and flexibility are essential. You’ll represent the Brunel professional brand in all interactions – with candidates, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders. We’re passionate about our brand! The ability to build and maintain rapport quickly is a great skill if you have this. The attached job description and person specification will detail your role in full.
