We are looking for someone to prepare and undertake procurement activities for Brunel, manage supplier relationships and monitor contractual performance; ensuring that opportunities for continual improvement and sustainability are explored and implemented.

Your Role

The attached job description will detail your role in full. But at a glance, some of the key fields you will be responsible for include:

  • Be the main point of contact for all centrally managed contracts
  • Develop template documents and guidelines for employees across Brunel to use and incorporate changes in line with legislation and national procurement initiatives in a timely manner
  • Develop and manage a medium to long-term procurement roadmap highlighting key and high value procurement activities in support of the Trusts procurement and contract management strategy
  • Preparing tender documentation by liaising with relevant colleagues, budget holders and procurement framework bodies as required, including embedding key performance indicators (KPIs) and management terms.

Your Experience

Our person specification attached will contain the full areas of skills and experience, but it is really important to us that you feel comfortable and confident in your role, so although you may not have everything desirable, there are some essential features our appointee will need to have and these include:

  • Training or development in public sector finances or operations
