St Mark’s CofE School is a mainstream junior school for 360 pupils aged 7-11 years and next door, on the same campus is Wyndham Park Infants’ School, a mainstream infant school with 270 pupils between the ages of 4-7. Both schools have a SEND resource base and both schools work in collaboration together.

As a developing Multi Academy Trust, now is an exciting time to join us here at St Marks CofE Junior School & Wyndham Park Infant School. We are a fantastic mainstream primary with a developing SEND provision and we are looking to appoint a motivated SENDCo to start in September.

Your Role

The attached job description will detail your role in full, but at a glance, some of the key areas you will be responsible for include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of SEND and inclusion across the 2 schools
  • Support the HT and Leadership Team to ensure all matters relating to safeguarding are upheld
  • Support the HT in the appraisal of employees with oversight of probation/performance
  • Co-ordinate intervention programmes across the two schools
