The Opportunity

Brunel Academies Trust are a proud, growing educational community based in Swindon and the surrounding areas of Wiltshire. We strive to significantly improve the life chances and outcomes for our children and young people (CYP) whether they are within our Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) or mainstream Education Provisions (EP).

The Chalet School is a Primary EP of Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and SEND and we are in search of permanent Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team. Our children need support staff with warm smiles, a nurturing nature, someone with a sense of humour, who’s really good at listening and understands that our learning journeys are a bit different.

With a flair for celebrating the smallest but most impacting successes of our children, retaining a patience in the knowledge this role comes with good days and challenging ones, we at The Chalet School will strive to meet the end goal of our Trust: To collaborate and build a successful community of mainstream schools and SEND provisions to ensure each and every one of our CYP have the education they deserve.

Experience: You can join us as an entry level Support Assistant or an experienced Teaching Assistant. Please see the attached Job Descriptions for full details of the responsibilities and expectations of these roles. 

Hours: 29.5pw
