We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Science with a passion for delivering excellent educational experiences for our students. You will have the opportunity to use your subject expertise to play a key role in championing the success and life chances of all children in our trust. About you
You will be:
- a qualified teacher or hold an equivalent teaching qualification, with strong subject knowledge in Science.
- able to deliver the Science curriculum and consistently teach high‑quality lessons across relevant key stages, fostering curiosity and a love of scientific learning.
- able to meet the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked‑after children, SEND, EAL, and high‑attaining students.
- a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change, motivate colleagues and build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- able to recognise, value and support opportunities beyond the classroom, contributing to enrichment, STEM activities, clubs, trips and wider experiences that enhance students’ science learning.
- empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the growth of others within the Science team and wider academy.
- highly competent in all elements of the Teachers’ Standards, with achievements and contributions that are substantial and sustained if applying as an Upper Pay Scale teacher.
