We are a diverse multi-academy trust of 20 schools, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ experience and education. We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our supportive and talented central team.

This role is offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis until December 2022.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong accountancy skills, good business partnering ability, great communication skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to support our journey towards continuous improvement. This role would be ideal for those looking to continue their career in education/public sector or those in the private sector looking to diversify their experience in a public sector organisation. Previous experience in education is not essential.

The role will primarily cover responsibility for preparing, supporting and delivering financial management across 5 CLF schools in conjunction with the Principal/Headteacher and includes line management of the schools Finance Assistants.

The individual will report to the Senior Finance Manager and will benefit from a flexible approach to working with support to work from home, at our central team base in Kingswood and in our academies, depending upon tasks required and the time of the year.

During this period, we will also be procuring a new finance system and this role will be involved in a range of project-based tasks to support the finance team to ensure its successful implementation.
