Cambridge Regional College are currently looking for a dynamic French teacher to join our International team based at our Cambridge campus. You will join us on a full year, part time (5 hours per week) basis and in return will receive a salary of £3,835 - £5,646 per annum, equivalent to a full-time salary of £28,385 - £41,782 per annum.

This is a fixed term role until March 2026.

About the role:

You will be responsible for delivery of French within the International department in Cambridge. This will be to a group of Norwegian students who are studying at CRC from September to March. This will require 3 hours of face-to-face delivery in Cambridge each week (spread over two afternoons).

For all courses, you will need to prepare all lessons and liaise with other teachers in the International team and with our partners in Norway.

What we are looking for in our role:

A fluent and confident French speaker with mastery of French across all 4 skills to CEFR C1 level. An inspirational teacher who makes full use of active learning strategies with the ability to support the development of transferable study skills in preparation for either HE or employment. You will need to discuss student issues with other team members and work collaboratively to ensure excellent retention and success. You will have a willingness to share good practice and collaborate with other teams in the College.
