The main responsibility of our Engineering Assessor / Trainer will be to provide high quality support and training to learners in their workplace and the assessment of their learning.

The successful candidate will be required to assess learners’ competence in line with appropriate industrial and qualification standards and record assessment outcomes.

You will also be expected to help prepare learners for their End Point Assessment.

Reporting to the Work based learning Manager, you will be required to support learners in line with College procedures and maintain accurate records for candidates in both written and computer-generated database formats.

Although prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous, full training would be available to a high calibre candidate who can demonstrate a commitment to the post.

Relevant Level 3 qualifications in engineering disciplines are essential as is an assessors qualification

You will be able to demonstrate a wide range of experiences within related industries

Having qualifications or experience within other related fields would be beneficial, although not essential
