Cambridge Regional College are seeking an inspirational leader to drive the growth and development of the Department of Engineering, Science & Access, ensuring the progress and achievement of all students and the effective deployment and performance of staff.
With a particular specialism in Engineering, the post holder will develop the curriculum plan to ensure that there is clear intent, that it is future focused, cost effective, responsive to labour market information and LEP priorities in order to meet the needs of students and employers.
You will be expected to lead innovation in the curriculum design and delivery of Study Programmes, Apprenticeships and Higher Education within the subject areas, ensuring that students are inspired, engaged and prepared for the world of work.
The successful candidate will lead and manage inspiring teaching, learning and assessment opportunities across the department
You should hold a Teaching qualification (Cert Ed/ PGCE or equivalent) along with a Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject.
You will be able to demonstrate recent teaching experience in a relevant curriculum area and evidence of successful programme/curriculum/resource management and leadership.
