About the role:
We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and skilled Curriculum Managers in Construction to be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of a range of course programmes. You will provide subject specialism and leadership and ensure excellent teaching, learning, assessment and quality assurance. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to act flexibly in order to adapt to a frequently changing work environment and priorities. You will be an enthusiastic, inspiring and inclusive manager, with demonstrable experience of leading and motivating teams. Demonstrating an aptitude and track record of driving continuous performance improvement, you will be a strong communicator with extensive experience in specialism.

The ideal candidate will possess all or most of the following:

  • Substantial teaching experience, some of which should be in Further Education
  • Experience of leading a team/tutoring experience
  • Curriculum leadership/coordination experience
  • Up to date knowledge of the relevant subject area
  • Good pedagogic practice
  • Relevant assessors' awards or a willingness to work towards these
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults
