The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London
Liaison Officer for Vocational Employability
Full time, Permanent - Tottenham
Salary range - £28,846 - £34,427 per annum

The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) aims to deliver the very best further education in London. Our most recent Ofsted report (April 2014) rated the College "Good” with "Outstanding" Leadership and Management. The College has been the highest performing GFE College in London for both success rates and learner satisfaction for the last 2 years and we are at an exciting stage of our development.

You will be joining a friendly and professional College that is wholly committed to securing the best academic and personal development outcomes for all of our learners.

The College of Haringey Enfield and North East London is looking to appoint an experienced Liaison officer to help set-up an ESFA Adult Education centre for the college to deliver Employability programmes outside London. We are primarily looking to expand into Hertfordshire, where we believe the provision is required.

As a Liaison Officer for Vocational Employability, you will develop and establish a productive working relationship with JCPs, the local communities and other referral agencies like housing associations, local libraries, Citizens Advice Bureau's and many support organisations to facilitate prospective learners on to our Employability programmes (like SIA, CSCS, Pre-Entry ESOL, Mental Health Awareness, Basic ICT and Forklift) with the college. You will be responsible for recruitment of learners, conducting initial assessments at JCPs, develop marketing strategies to promote the college offer and develop SBWAs to maximise recruitment opportunities. We are looking for someone who is willing to travel, network in the community with excellent track record of employer engagement and learner recruitment.

You will provide an on-going aftercare service, which will include providing feedback to JCPs and referral partners and supporting employers and learners with any queries.

Closing date: 31st August 2022
