At Capital City College (CCC) we are dedicated to transforming lives through exceptional education and training. Our focus is providing our learners with the skills to be successful in their futures, whether that is continuing in education through higher education, or an apprenticeship, or supporting them into a higher-level job.

About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Veterinary Nursing Course Coordinator to join our dynamic team and take the lead in shaping the future of veterinary nursing education. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll be responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of our Veterinary Nursing apprenticeship provision.

This is a fixed term maternity cover position until May 2026. The role will be 28 hours a week.

From recruiting and supporting students to liaising with employers and regulatory bodies, you'll be the key contact for ensuring the success of our veterinary nursing learners. You'll be actively involved in marketing the course, attending industry events, conducting interviews, and ensuring a high standard of teaching, learning, and assessment.

You'll play a central role in quality assurance, developing course documentation, maintaining student records, and preparing for external moderation and audits. You will also support clinical coaches, provide apprenticeship guidance, and carry out Health and Safety audits in training practices. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on learners' journeys while working closely with a passionate and supportive team.

About You

You are an organised, confident, and approachable individual with a passion for education and animal care. With a solid background in veterinary nursing and a strong understanding of apprenticeship delivery, you have the ability to inspire and support students throughout their learning journey.

You're a natural communicator who can build positive relationships with students, employers, awarding bodies, and internal teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are highly detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities with ease. Whether it's producing high-quality documentation, supporting struggling learners, or ensuring compliance with quality standards, you bring a hands-on, solution-focused approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the CCC team who are passionate and dedicated to providing our students with the best possible teaching and training to fulfil the futures best suited to them. We recognise how hard our people work towards ensuring our students are supported throughout all areas of their college experience, and thus we provide an excellent set of employee benefits.

At CCC we are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in all our activities for everyone who learns and works here. We respect and value differences and welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds. We create a safe and trusting professional environment where people are treated well and equally.

We are committed to safeguarding and protection of young people and adults and follow Safer Recruitment processes. All successful candidates will need to complete a DBS check, with some roles requiring an Enhanced check.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy if we receive sufficient application for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
