The purpose of this role is to effectively source and secure work experience placements for full-time learners. You will engage with employers, curriculum areas and full-time learners, to ensure that the preparation, delivery and evaluation of work placements are meaningful, relevant and sustained to a high quality and ensure that learners are well prepared.
We are always looking for ways to improve the Work Experience provision, ensuring it is relevant and student-focused. Developing student employability skills is a key aspect of the role and we have established a high-quality support programme for those seeking alternatives to university.

Equality & Diversity:
We value the diversity of our staff and learners who come from different cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds. This diversity is the source of our strength as our differences enable us to be innovative and creative in the way we work.
Through our curriculum and employment policies, procedures and practices, we embrace equality and successfully celebrate the diversity of our staff and learners, who are encouraged and supported to share different aspects of their identity.
We are proud to display the 'two ticks' symbol, to be a Stonewall Diversity Champion, and members of the Network for Black Professionals, and the Women’s Leadership Network.
Our aim is to recruit the best staff possible and to deliver first class teaching to our learners. We are one of the few Colleges to employ an Equality & Diversity Manager whose goal it is to monitor and measure the steps taken to make sure we have an inclusive and safe learning and working environment.
We are committed to equality and diversity, and expect our staff to share this commitment.
