Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Functional Skills and GCSE English.

The successful candidate will be joining a team at a great time, with the opportunity to become involved in Pearson GCSE English Language 2.0, AQA GCSE English Language and Pearson Functional Skills English from Entry Level through to Level 1.

Applicants will need subject specific qualifications along with previous teaching experience in their subject area. We are ideally looking for an individual with relevant and up to date subject knowledge and experience, as well as the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons, however we would also consider newly qualified or unqualified teachers. Experience of assessing Functional Skills English would also be beneficial for this role. Lessons will be delivered in College across our two sites and when required on Teams, both during the daytime and occasionally in the evening.
