We have a great opportunity to join the Cirencester College Pastoral Team.

You will have responsibility of looking after a number of tutor groups, meeting with students on a 1:1 basis and supporting their wellbeing and progression pastorally and academically including induction, ILPs, contextualised guidance, UCAS, WEX – monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance and appropriate support.

You will take part in a carousel of tutorials delivering subject matter within areas of expertise/comfort, delivering the same session to several groups. Be subject to quality/performance monitoring and to share/observe good practice where relevant.

In addition, you will support the Pastoral Leads in the delivery and continuous improvement of our overall health and wellbeing services. Supporting the service on a day-to-day basis, handling the concerns of students and helping to tackle behavioural and attendance issues. You will help to promote positive mental health and encourage students to engage in activities appropriate to their needs.

You will be educated to at least level 3 and preferably degree level and have done or be prepared to do Advanced Safeguarding training and have a keen interest in health and wellbeing. Mental Health First Aid training would be desirable.
