Learner Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £18,757.79-£20,496.21

Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week

Location: College Green

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Learner/Customer Service Advisor to work within the Student Services team.

To provide accurate and timely Information, Advice and Guidance to enquiries, whether in person, through Hub Services, by telephone or electronically, ensuring that learners are provided with appropriate information to access appropriate learning opportunities.

To effectively and efficiently deliver key Hub Services, to create an environment where high standards of information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) is cultivated and celebrated, including effective use of technology.

To promote the Hub as a one stop shop for student support, referring onwards appropriately to specialist services.

To support the HE admissions process including use of the UCAS system and IAG for current and prospective students.

You must have a good level of general education to A-level or above, and must have excellent administrative and customer service skills. You will be a confident user of IT and use this to efficiently deliver services and access information. Ideally you will also have a recognised qualification in Advice and Guidance or equivalent. You should also have a good working knowledge of the Further and Higher Education sectors.
