  • Hair, Beauty, Catering & Service Industries
  • Foundation and Community Learning.
  • Construction Technologies

As a Study Coach you will deliver tutorials, monitor attendance and progress, provide support where needed and help to ensure that students achieve all elements of their Study programme including English and Maths. A key part of your role will be to focus on rapid intervention strategies in order to support students who are at risk of not achieving. You will help them engage and progress in all aspects of their programme. Strategies will include liaising with teachers to ensure active engagement and strong attainment in all aspects of study, action-planning and robust target-setting, as well as communicating with parents and other stakeholders.

Our aim is to ensure all students, regardless of their starting point, receive an outstanding experience and are well supported to achieve their qualification to the highest of standards.

You will be responsible for delivering tutorials (usually weekly) as part of a student’s study programme, and reviewing individual learners’ progress on a regular basis. You will facilitate and enable students to access the full range of College services so that they stay in learning and fulfil their potential.

We will provide on-the-job training opportunities as required, including options to consider a career in teaching.
